      An amazing piercing

      This is reviewing the experience as much as the jewellery. I knew I wanted a rook piercing. I would normally go to my local studio (great but ugly jewellery) but knew this would be in for quite a while so headed to Bicester where my closest A&M is. The piercer was fab: she listened to my worries about the pain but then got me through it (oh my, it DID hurt!) and then also did an additional lobe piercing. I was ready for all sorts of issues (having read up on rook piercing) but, over two weeks later I have had no issues: no pain after the first day; swelling went down quickly and, of course, the jewellery looks great… and I can live with it through all the months of healing! Thank you!

      Still can’t wait to swap it for the rook hoop though….

      I got this piece on recommendation from the piercer Rach at the Glasgow Studio as it went so well with the heart stud piece I was getting put in my flat helix and she was spot on.

      I am excited to eventually buy and wear an oval rook piece from A&M in 6 or so months but I love my initial rook piece is still a beautiful solid gold, cute design
